Description
Join us for a night of (mostly) instrumental music from three different bands.
Deaf Scene
An instrumental experimental rock trio from the greater Baltimore, Maryland area. In their three year existence, the band has managed to cultivate a musical style that is comfortably indefinable and always developing. Deaf Scene’s high-energy, psyched-out live performances showcase their musical chemistry and eclectic songwriting approach. On their newest self-titled release, the band uses lush guitar melodies, atmospheric loops, intricate bass rhythm and textures, and propulsive drumming to create a movement of music that is highly melodic, groovable, and evocative all at the same time. Deaf Scene is proving to be, "One of Maryland's best up-and-coming acts" -explodinginsound.com
Dry Season
A perfect not-storm, the Dry Season is a….well, they shy away from describing themselves, so it almost feels tacky to take a shot saying what the guys do. What they do, simply, is to rock. An (mostly) instrumental band taking vibrations from post-rock, art-rock, metal rock and yazz and wielding them altogether into a forlorn witholding of vital life energies that sometimes breaks and pours over you, the listener; their name is no joke. --- Nick Dukes
Strum the Fox
A sound influenced by various types of rock, jazz, classical and world music. As far as genre is concerned, Strum the Fox can be categorized as rock that is instrumental, experimental, progressive and sometimes comical
